Taking place July 14th-15th at the Fishhawk Sports Complex in Lithia, FL, the tournament will provide great exposure for local talented football players. High school sports are a strong foundation for these athletes and it is an honor four our firm to have the opportunity to participate. Tournaments like the 9 Route help build a future for athletes and we are happy to help in any way that we can.

We look forward to watching the athletes compete and can’t wait for the tournament to begin!

Tournament participants, Tampa Bay business leaders, and city officials will come together to celebrate the commencement of the summer series over food, beverages and festivities. The party will be a great opportunity for everyone involved to meet and begin preparing for summer games!

We are honored to sponsor the ‘Hoop It Up’  Late Night Summer Basketball Tournament, presented by the NFL YET Center, The City of Tampa’s Parks and Recreation Department, and The H.O.P.E. Center. The series will be divided into the age brackets of 18-under & 19-25, and anyone within those age groups is invited to participate.

The Tampa basketball tournament was created to provide local adolescents and youth safe entertainment and friendly competition throughout the summer. From June to August, teams will compete in 3 v. 3 games at The YET Center. At the end of each month, tournament winners will be awarded with prizes.

We look forward to meeting all of the participants tomorrow evening!

In her keynote address, the Olympic Gold Medalist will honor the achievements and outstanding performances of event attendees.

During the 2011-2012 school year, Vanguard Attorneys  has recognized student athletes each month with the Vanguard Student Athlete Award.

Winning students include:

·        September: Kieran Pettus from East Bay High School
·        October: Robert Asphall from Leto High School
·        November: Katherine Lutton from Hillsborough High School
·        December: Brittany Butler from Plant City High School
·        January: Christopher Duvall from Robinson High School
·        February: Sara Hill from Freedom high School
·        March: Amy Mildebrath Alonso High School
·        April: Leon McQuay, from Armwood

To celebrate an outstanding year, the Vanguard Award Committee welcomes previous student athlete winners, coaches and members of the Vanguard Award Selection Committee to enjoy food and entertainment at the Vanguard End of the Year Awards Banquet. During the evening, the committee will announce the two winners of the Coach of the Year Awards, who will receive a $1,000 each, and the overall student athlete winner of the Vanguard MVP Award, who will receive $500.

We look forward to honoring the dedication of local high school coaches and athletes and are excited for the celebration to begin!
